What's better?

Is freezing material better in an open container or closed? I have my current material in mason jars. I would think leaving it open would help remove water due to the dehumidifying effect of refrigeration. Does anyone do this or what do you do?

NEVER USE YOUR FREEZER except if you really want to brake the cellular structure of your material. Leaves are made of over 75% of water and when water become ice it takes a lot more space.

To be honest, I don't think so but I'm not sure. I believe I actually asked FD the same question and from my understanding of it, it's more so people feel more "comfortable" vaping/ingesting a grain alcohol as opposed to a chemical alcohol.

Ethanol can be considered organic. It's plant based. Ask yourself if you had to drink one which would you choose?!

Iso evaporates a lot easier and without heat. Ethanol and iso both evaporate completely, and without residue.. you definitely don't wanna drink iso. Ethanol takes longer to soak up the yummies while iso likes to strip it down on contact. Ethanol is more polar...that's pretty much the differences I guess... I find it much easier to find iso than everclear or other high proof liquor without any additives.. you can get it online though......but a bottle of 99% iso at my Randall's is just over a dollar, if only you could drink iso, it would be perfect....anyways I'm just bored this Saturday morning waiting for ma girl to wake up

To put my reply in perspective, poison is always in the dosage. At the residual levels that are typically found in oil, neither is within the levels of health concern. You would get more in your system wiping a skin patch with Isopropyl, than from the oil. It is absorbed through the skin as well.

If I were going to drink it, I would choose Ethanol because Isopropyl causes auditory nerve damage and more toxic. Even though Ethanol is food grade, it is also toxic and does significant damage to any number of body systems when consumed in excess.

There is also the hysteria factor, by which it doesn't matter what the facts are, it still scares the shit out of anyone who hasn't studied the nuances enough to realize what levels are toxic. Most of them would be horrified to read the MSDS data on Ethanol, because of how well it has been studied and all the bad things we know that it has done to people. Take a look at what it does to fetuses for instance.

As I've noted tongue in cheek before, a 75% oxygen atmosphere will kill a human being. Too much of a good thing is just enough that it becomes toxic. Some things just take less be toxic than others, but still have their uses. Consider Belladona for instance, a deadly poison used as a heart medicine.

Fade, why are you always so reasonable? ;)

Yeah price is a factor too. One liter of grain costs me $22 compared to $2 for ISO.

Yup everclear here would need to be ordered online for ~$35 when I get 16oz bottles of 99% ISO for $1.99, $1.50 when on sale..

I find it weird how it doesnt say the amount on the label... same with everclear, instead its stamped on the bottle.... kinda weird. im used to it being on the label on everything else.
