I know experience is important, but I will have a year to research and full time to deal with the plants. I mean, not to be offensive, but it is plants man. Sure you need to be pretty diligent as this isn't just "any" plant, but it's not exactly the most complicated thing ever. My plan is to have perfect conditions for the plant. I'll also have a second person assisting me.You may not like reading this but it is true........all the reading, knowledge gaining, research and such is no replacement for experience. I admire your chutzpah for wanting to go big...hell I did the same thing, started out wanting to grow a few autos in the cupboard and now I have 2x flower rooms, a Mommy room and cloning station turning out dozens of clones every week and 16 flowered plants per 2 weeks.
Your first correction needs to be that the described yield posted by the breeder/seed bank is under perfect conditions under 1k lights and taking into consideration that the quoted yield is at the top end.
Will you hit that benchmark off the bat......unlikely! and I think every person on RIU would acknowledge that from personal experience.
Buy the equipment and get growing but be aware that your estimates will shift drastically once you get going and realise a small mistake during every stage of the grow will merely personify the negative result.
Good luck with it all.
Eh, are you sure? I don't know if that's exactly the optimum solution for nutrients and all. How do you manage it exactly?go coco i recon, better then soil.
i just started and i hardly do anything to mine and there going off!!
it can only hold 30% water so no problem with over watering. i just have have dripper setup to feed 4 times a day, just setup my run to waste. setup a rez get your ph and ppm to what you want set the timer on the pump and walk awayEh, are you sure? I don't know if that's exactly the optimum solution for nutrients and all. How do you manage it exactly?
Lol you're correct dude.the suare footage is actually only like 194. i googled it.
Some people need to learn the hard way................Well while your watching and reading you better take a look at the JAIL TIME you can get for growing that big
There are alot of things that you cant be tought its kind of like riding a bike you can read for a year and will still bust your ass the first few times
You came here for advice and that is what your getting honest and hands on
If you set up 1 light and do 2 or 3 grows you can exspand and wont be out anything
But as you said you will read and watch videos for a year
IMO start small and grow into it
I believed alot of people are being way to nice in there post idk how much it will cost with out.being there and picking everything out but I do know a few things 1) your a fucking idiot 2) you are so fucking dreaming 3) with you ia level.if u do.mange to.put a crappy grow together you will more than likely be arrested soon after u start lmao oh and did I mention your an idiot who.is dreamingHey, so in a years time from now, I am going to be starting a grow in an area of about 18 meters squared. I want to be able to know everything possible before hand and have no doubts.
My question to you guys is what approximate cost will it be for an 18 square meter [indoor] garden?
Would I best be going with soil, hydro, aero? I want to yield minimum 600g PER square-meter from my plants, and hopefully around 700+g/square-meter, if possible. I want the fastest and highest yielding strains. Approximately how many plants do you think I could fit in this space, also? Like around 78-94? Way more?
*Costs refer to: Lights, pots/soil, carbon filter, any wood to make the room, or tents to create a giant room; and/or: any other equipment needed if it's hydro or aero setup you're recommending.
When it comes to things I'm looking for, I've had difficulty finding anything to accommodate my size. Would you guys recommend using wood/fiber board to make a room, or should I use a few tents combined together? I'm looking for the best solution for both cost and smell-killing.
Now, I don't as much care about the number of plants I can fit. I'm just wondering what would be the most cost-effective setup. I don't want to get people making a big deal about the size of space I'm using. I'm simply asking what sort of revenue I would be spending to make this happen. I want a few different comparisons, so I have a goal of money to save up for in order to make my grow happen.
Thanks for all help, and please post links if you can. I will have time, and I'm not a dumb guy. I know growing isn't the hardest thing under the sun, but I also know it's not the easiest.

Think about what you are asking and what you are trying to do before you claim to have a high iq. In reallty the only thing high is you. If you do.not appreciate out responses well don't post dumb as fuck shitI know experience is important, but I will have a year to research and full time to deal with the plants. And, the reason I say the yields I want is because that's the expected minimum yield. I'm basing everything off of getting a good minimum yield, so that if I don't do amazing the first time, I will still do pretty good, and if I get more, well, awesome.
I know you think a lot of people on rollitup will say things and all, but I need to let you know I'm not just your typical person. I have a lot of determination, a high IQ, and a lot of plans that I'm going to make beforehand.
That being said, I do appreciate your response and would definitely appreciate any tips you have, whether it be in post form or by personal message. Thanks!
