Dude, do you really think it was easier to start a thread to ask this question than it was to google DWC? But it stands for deep water culture its a form of recirculating hydro. Go to noobie central and look at the growing terms guide

Hi Jalil.
DWC, is a bucket of Ph balanced water containing nutrients for the plant. There's lots of air bubbles (provided by an air pump and air stones) that provide Oxygen to the roots.

The plant is in a growing medium like hydroton (expanded clay pellets) in a "net-pot" a pot with lots of holes all over so the roots can grow through. The net pot is suspended just above the water, so only the roots below the pot are in the water.

It's an inexpensive, easy to use/maintain/hide modular system that's fairly forgiving.
