Miracle Gro will work bro but it isn't formulated for ganja so there are MANY better alternatives, ...it's your grow man so if it's good enough for you then just keep on but there is a LOT of evidence that shows that MG is only a mediocre nutrient for the ganja.

...oh and GetNice, i wasn't seeking answers, i was offering them. ...if it seemed otherwise it was because you were asking for help without providing the necessary background information so i was suggesting that if you really did want help then you needed to provide more information, ...keep in mind that MY grow is doing just fine.
Like I stated this is my last soil grow. I'm going DWC for my next grow so the old MG can get shelved. Still trying to figure out what nutes I should start with though, I was thinking of this:
Code:
[URL]http://www.progressive-growth.com/proddetail.php?prod=dmgold2[/URL]
and:
Code:
[URL]http://www.progressive-growth.com/proddetail.php?prod=dmgold1[/URL]
and maybe some Koolbloom.

@GetNice Well I guess the flush worked. I wouldn't have cut all them fan leaves of though at least not until they were completely dead. Any leaf no matter the condition if it is still alive it is still working for the plant. Please post a pic in a day or so.

...yeah man, that stuff would definitely be better than MG but God man, the price will eat you up!

a couple years ago i stumbled across a thread on KISS style feeding and, as i'm a lazy phuck by nature, the ease of use and the low price convinced me to give it a try and it turned out to be one of the best changes i've made to my grow, ever.

The K.I.S.S. Method

...now, i've also run DWCs and while they work very well and give great results, there are MANY ways for your grow to fail, catastrophically, all it takes is for a pump to fail or for the res to be too warm, or you fail to do a thorough job of cleanup, which all means that, as a DWC grower you'll have to be constantly vigilant in order to prevent that failure and like i said, it works real well, but it's also a pain in the ass.

...here's a couple pics to show i'm not just talkin out my ass, first a couple of my DIY bubble cloner, mostly because i don't have good pics of the DWCs and the cloner uses the exact same bins except not as deep, the DWCs are 7gallon bins so they stand several inchs taller than the cloner. (the lids are very sturdy and interchangeable so the cloner lid fits the DWCs and vice versa)

...and here's a couple crappy shots that don't show much detail on the DWCs but you can see that back then i grew and flowered under nothing but CFLs, ...all this was at the beginning for me and all this has been abandoned for hempys and HPS, vertical style.

...which leads me to suggest hempy buckets instead of DWC because where DWC is complicated and dependent on your vigilance, hempy's are easy peasy lemon squeezy and being PASSIVE hydroponics there are no mechanical points of potential failure like pumps and such, if you don't use pumps they can't fail on you and believe me, the results are maybe just as impressive as DWC and without all the stress and worry.

I though that the price was very fair compared to other brands like Foxfarm or General organics. I am in canada so I will only buy in canada so maybe the price is a little more expensive. Maybe I should go to a couple of local greenhouses and see what they have, at least then I wont have to pay shipping and handling. Not sure I like the idea of flood and drain. I'm on permanent disability because of a broken back so I am home all the time so I can keep an I on the plants. As for the res getting to warm, I will be putting it outside the tent so it should not get any warmer than room temp. I have fish so I have many Air pumps around(never had one fail yet in over 30 years)to replace a burnt out one if it should happen as for the water pump I'm not to worried as I will be around the plants all the time so at the very least they will be waterless for less than 8 hrs if the pump should fail. As for clogging lines I'm under the impression that these new lines of liquid nutes are formulated to prevent clogging? but this is new to me but I have been looking into it for over a year now and I'm confident that I will be successful(hopefully)with my plans. Btw what do you use for nutes? and how much does it cost? maybe I'm looking at the wrong stuff.

...hempy buckets changed my world bro, once i started growing in coco hempy buckets it quickly became apparent that i could get nearly identical results as my DWCs with far less hassle and because they work passively there isn't any way possible for them to fail, they just work, and without any technology at all, passive hydro FTW.

...oh, and if you're gonna have a res outside the tent then you're not talking simple DWC, you're talking RDWC with all your buckets linked together and recirculating out to the main res.

...and again i'll say that each level of complication creates more work for you, personally, i prefer to spend my time doing other things and with hempy's i don't have to sacrifice anything but the labor, my buds are just as good and just as heavy.

Yes I have read defoliation can increase yield. I defoliators very strategically to creat open space for my lower branches and buds. I didn't remove anything that was needed. All removed was to get rid if bad leaves and open more light up to the side ranching. I expect to see her high and proud tonight when lights come on. Gonna go light on the fees tonight with a mild mag.

...yeah, all that is discussed in that KISS thread i linked to above, ...it starts out talking about MaxiBloom as a single nutrient that you use from seed to harvest so extremely easy to run and at about $15.00 for a 2.2 lb bag, it last's a lot longer than you'd think so it's very economical.

...it works out to something similar to the Lucas formula but it's much easier to use.

frankly though Jack's Pro Hydro is better with the caveat that it is a 2 part and not a one part, which is part of what makes it better actually but you should really do some reading in that KISS thread to get some background first before we discuss changing it up.

Well it hasn't got worse so I would have to say the flush worked. Whats up with the little bud? did you smoke it and did it get you high?. I usually do a mass prunning about a month into flower so my lower buds get light but that is the only time I mess with the plants other than topping.

Too be honest I want this crop done and over with. I want to re set up my tent and get the buckets in there and finally say goodby to this soil shit and the small yields that come with soil growing(not to mention the many many other complication that exist). I know there are just as many if not more problem with hydro but 5 years with soil and now I'm done. How often do you do auto's? I have never did one but I got lots of 70w HPS and MH bulbs and ballasts so I might just set up a closet grow as there is a few strains I would love to try.

Sounds Like a Plan. I do autos everytime. This is the first ever on a 12/12 schedule. I just trust autoflowers more than phenos. Every Pheno I have grown took forever to begin flowering even after the switch and mainly turned male on me. All Autos I have done most have been female sometimes male though. The Little bud, I must have nipped it when pruning cause I pulled a fan leaf down to inspect the buds and one fell off and was dead so I know it came from snipping, Yes It was a mild uplifting small buzz, I was already medicated when i decided to vaporize it and it brought me up a notch.

I while back I saw a pic of a very small auto(less than 3 inch)with just the top for a bud basically, but this plant was completely light blue(baby blue), the whole plant! I have never seen that pic again but I keep searching and when I find out what it is I'll be on like flies on shit. I know there is no difference between a green plant or a blue or a purple one at all but damn it was the prettiest, smallest and unique plant I ever saw. If I do start a closet grow I will do one at a time with 3 70w basically sitting around the plant like satellites and I'll do it in a bubbler. Ya I'm done with just buying regular seeds as I usually have to start at least ten and hope six are female and at least one will hermi( I have bad luck with hermi's) and one just won't do well so I kill it and I usually end up with 4 out of 10 and at the end of the day it is costing me money. So like I said I got fem WW from BC seed king for my next grow and I can't wait. New setup(dwc buckets) new strain and no more MG lol. I hope it will work out well for me as I am getting older and I can't be knocking on doors looking for bud and theres two of us smoking so I want to at least yield enough to last for two between grows. Is it unrealistic to aim for a pound a crop? Six plants topped twice in dwc buckets under 600w in a climate controlled 4x4 tent, I hear many say it is easily attainable so I will aim for a pound a crop. As it is right now I average 9 to 12 zip a crop from 4 plants topped twice in MG soil and Nutes lol. So ya with the way I run my rig now I am only seeing maybe half of my plants potential and to me it is wasted money and resources. As for that little bud, what a coincadence I saw a post of another member saying he pulled a small bud of his plant and threw it in his vap and it was great. So i tried it(mind you I usually am a very sensitive person when it comes to messing with flowering plants)I cut a small lower bud of dropped it my vap let it dry a bit and pulled but it almost made me sick from the chlorophylle taste but it did get me high. But I won't do that again lol.

I don't
think a puns is unrealistic. There are many plants out there that can produce such as said. Autoseeds auto pounder may get you close. These a guy in Australia who yields a pound off his strain every time. Says if u can't get a pubs eveyte off this then you're doing something wrong. Yes some little plants llike mine can be lovely and yield an ounce each. I am hoping to get at least a quarter. Yeah my bud last night in the vaporizer was delicious and it was fresh and small. Lol. I
like your story and I am in same boat except one of us smoke. Wife gets completely obliterated when smoked up.
