Whats the Best 1000 HPS bulb for My Magnetic Ballast?

How long do they last? Mine is a year old...should I get a new one yet? Whats the best one? I see a duel halide/red spectrum bulb that someone was talking about. Sounds like hype to me.

What should I get? How much should it cost?

hooooortiiilllllux for the win, last a year but i switch out every 2-3 cycles...

around 100 bucks.

I just retired my hortilux for a lumatek high par and like the later much better. Way more blue than the hortilux.
