What's the best boost?

I'm currently using Canna Boost in coco, it's expensive and I'm also dubious if it works or not....... What about molasses, does that work as a boost? Do I need a boost?

You shouldnt need a boost but its always nice to have one

I use Snowstorm Ultra and it works for me.

A little 8oz bottle has lasted me about 5 flowerings so far and it works great!

Molasses is a sugar... Its used to feed beneficial micro-organisms and to provide the plant with needed sucrose. It will not work as a booster, per say, but it will help your plants and planting medium if you add some sugars to your feed solution around days 30 and 45 of flower... You could do it more often, but its unnecessary.

As for boosters, I'm assuming you mean a p/k booster for ripening flowers? I like to use powdered Kool Bloom... Its cheap, it works, and a $15 bag will last you years.

no prob, btw, you can still use molasses. There was a thread some time ago that compared boost vs molasses vs both together. it showed best results with boost and molasses together. The boost helps the plant to make better use of the carbs. You will still need to use a pk product when the time comes also.:peace:

I've got PK 13/14 but it says to use it just once, three weeks before harvest? Doesn't seem enough to be but then again, I am a newbie :smile:
