What's the best extraction method for gummies that don't taste like I licked a bong?

I've tried feco I've tried unfused coconut oil. both still taste like ick. Maybe that's just the way it is? I guess they don't really have to taste good. down the hatch, chase it with something and I'm good to go. just wondering if there is a way?
the feco made via extractcraft with frozen trim and 190 ethanol. I got it to about 5 below 0 (farenhght) so not super cold like -20 as suggested but I don't really have access to dry ice and I don't want to pour more money into this shit if it's really not going to make any difference. I could get a small chest freezer that will get down to -12 at best. I don't want to buy one of those either if it's not really going to make a big difference.
I finally figured out how to decarb! so it does actually get me high now I'm trying to figure out the taste factor.
Could it be that the trim versus bud is a factor? I haven't tried to use my bud yet. just got my machine and am working with the trim first.
This is such a fucking puzzle honestly. Thanks for any insight you pros might have for a dummy like me.

i make gummies with butter. only problem is they taste like weed butter and i am not a fan of it.
but you can make it with butter just buy soy licetin one tea spoon of that and water will bind to butter.

Trim or bud?

The taste varies very little between the two, as they are essentially the same product.

I use 190 proof to 1oz of bud to make tincture.

The taste is strong but tolerable. Depending on the delicacies of your palate.

Use bubble hash or some other concentrate and then use that instead of flower to infuse your oil or butter
