and i have a400 watt hps about 2 feet from theplants and the temp willsometimes get to 100 degrees im probgonna have to run some kind of dryer vent system but my lite doesnthave opening on thesides its a sun pro 2

I have low humidty which is a hell of a lot better the high. I can not get it to rise and I have put 2 humidifiers in the room. I now just spray the plants everyday with water and they love it. The comparison to last grow is amazing as I did not do this.
Get a cool mist humidifier as it makes ones the room feel a little cooler, the warm will warm your room up, but they seem to create more humidity.

You need 40% to 45% Humidity.

Day time temps with Lights on should be no higher than 86, and no lower than 64 with Lights OFF. Hotter or Colder will slow or stop growth.

Spray them with water, it's simple, easy, and like greenisgold said, the plants love it. I don't know why the size of the room would be an issue. I use a 2 gallon sprayer but if you have a smaller place use a spray bottle.

Wow, really? This is only a slight concern? Over 92 for a few hours and they are pretty much never the same. Kiss your plants goodbye.

As the guy at my hydrostore said, "Until you have control of your environment, you are just pissing in the wind."

How hot is your room? I live in Texas, which is hotter than 95% of the US, and I have my grow in a room that isn't A/C'd, have an uncooled 400watter in a 4x4 tent, and I am easily able to keep temps between 74-78deg. I also have my light closer than 2 foot.

u gotta try to lower that down . that is way too much . either way , try to get some Aloe Vera make a Juice Straith from the Leaf and mist your plants every 5 days with it it will help your plants withstand the heat , it doesn't make miracles but it will help.
