I think this is the most common complaint I've read about. Folks trying to ask for diagnostics on their plant/s then post an image with the lights on and you can't see any detail in the plant to even make an assumption.
My thought is, everyone has to start somewhere. Better to spend less on a light that will get the job done before you actually know whether or not this hobby is something you would like to continue. Not everyone has a green thumb, even with the knowledge available some folks just can't keep plants alive. I'd be pissed at myself if I spent a ton of money on a setup and then got so frustrated that I just ditched it all. Granted, I'm not that kind of person but still...you get my point.
There are plenty of great grows with blurple lights and higher tech lights. There are also shitty grows in both spectrums as well.
