What's the Black Stuff that Appears When you Top?

i topped my girls yesterday, and the open pores(right word?) that are now exposed have turned black. i know this is normal and part of the healing process. im just wondering what it is. to me, it seems like a scab that covers the wound while she can heal it

yea thats normal. they should be just fine if you did it right

yah, the liquid that runs out is pretty much like plant blood, and the black spot that is left over when it heals is just like a scab on your plant, nothing more, nothing less.. it just heals so it's not left open to infections the same way the human body does.. ok, maybe not the same way, but i'm sure you're picking up what i'm putting down..
