Its purpose is for stress. Transplanting, cloning, when ever a time the plant is in stress. Some use it until flowering and others do not use it during flowering.
A seaweed supplement works just as well, it has all the essential goodness your plant needs. Many companies offer these. I've read about people getting odd deformities from using Superthrive too much, haven't used it very often myself only tried the one little tiny bottle. Discovered seaweed browsing organic remedies and haven't looked back.
ive been using superthrive with every feeding for my last 3months outdoor organic grow. i wouldnt consider it organic cuz its def a chemical but my buddys at the hydro store didnt have anything bad to say about it. they said try it out and use it see wat happens if anything itll only help its pretty cheap in comparrison and u use it with ur nutes not as a supplement to nutes. so i mean if u check my grow out ull see the 4 babies in the ground solid green strong at 7ft so far and havent had any nute issues. i use bat guano and molasses in my tea mix and add the superthrive. ive been tryin to figure out if i wnt to use it during flowering tho. im out now cuz ive used two bottles so not sure ill get anymore. but hope sum of this helps
its not really organic true. but you dont really use enough to get a lot of the chemical in your plant. a drop per gallon is not much at all i use 2 drops. when you use it the first time you will tell a huge, huge difference. i use it every 2 or 3 watering's.
