I heard that white widows and northern lights are the easiest mainly-indica strains for beginners (indoor).. Is that true?
What about different versions of those strains? There are some sold for 3-4$/fem-seed to a maximum of 10$/fem-seed, why there's such a difference between version of the same strain? Thanks

White Widow (not to be confused with the original WW, now called Black Widow) is tolerant to stressors, so it is good for a newb grower. It is an indy-dominant plant (60% indica, 40% sativa), but it isn't a quick grower. My last batch took just over 10 weeks to flower.

Early Girl is an easy-to-grow Indica with a ~50 day flower cycle. Bubba Kush is another easy grower that tolerates less-frequent waterings, and colder temperatures, and flowers between 60-67 days.

ps. and yes, I agree with Vega... feminized seeds are very useful and worth the extra money, especially if this is your first grow. Also, the difference in price between different shops is usually because each shop has it's own particular strain of a type of plant, and are not usually the original strain itself. White Widow is a perfect example of this.

Kushage (KSG) from T.H.Seeds and the NL x BB hybrid from World of Seeds. Both are fast via being mostly indica. Along with being fast, both are easy and reliable to clone. The KSG roots regular at 7-8 days with the NL x BB just one day later. Important thing is that both are a great product, are fast to grow and clone and also re-grow well. 3 weeks after harvesting they are vegged out enough to go back to 12/12. I just bought a 5-pack of feminized KSG and NL x BB and received 8 freebies from the "Tude. Happy, happy happy. Good luck, BigSteve.
