Whats the funniest thing someones said to you about growing?

Have also given some product to a friend of a friend who said the herb had bud root and should be green as that’s what it’s called found out a while later he couldn’t get off the couch for 12hrs after eating two brownies lmfao

Well to be fair, we would be way better off from a breeding standpoint if more older landraces were well preserved. Not saying landrace A or B is better than X grown today but we would be able to make a lot more variety of Xs if those strains had been better preserved. Lately a lot of breeders have been doing preservation efforts.
However, nostalgia is an hell of a thing. I look back and think holy shit that "redbud" sinsemilla those old farmers in the country grew while I was growing up was the shit. Maybe it was, maybe not. Its like a restaurant you remember as a child and you go back and think why did i love this so much?

I think you hit the nail on the head about nostalgia. I can't really argue with you about the redbud. But every time I hear someone talking about the good ol days and how it will never be the same. I think of Al Bundy talking about his football career and blames Peggy because he never went pro. Wow my reference is old, talk about nostalgia. LOL
