What's the most $ you've ever saved?

When I saved up for my downtown condo, so I managed 15k in the bank at one time. Now I have like 2-3k, but I never go below 1k for safety.

Never rented(rent = paying someone elses mortgage)

Only one credit card that I use to pay some bills online with. I use debit for everything else.

Paid off all school loans and never took out a line of credit. I also waited until I was 28 until I went to college because I didnt want to waste money on classes that I wasnt positive that I wanted to take.

This might sound bad, but I never dated any women that wanted to stay at home or worked part-time/crappy job. I finally met a woman that had a good full time job and works hard, so life is 10 times easier with 2 good incomes. We arnt super rich, but our life style is a lot more relaxing with 2 incomes.

Well this thread just boosted my ego.

most i ever received was 4700.00 on one job. obviously spent that on bills and what not, now bank account is -30.00, they are going to close it on me soon, and the only thing I care about is not being able to order new beans.

been almost a year out of work. savings hahahaha whats that.....

Saving cash is really hard,,,I Like to spend it on things i can resell and hopefully make a profit on,,,when or if I need it. To much cash = to much fun and nothing to show

once i save a bud i put it in the window about a year long i was in college ya i went to college believe it or not... n i was working n going to school well i lived on a bizzy ass street i put the long bud against a window that claterd every freekn tym a diesle truck drove buy and that was every fucken minute.....the bud did the trick kept it from maken noise wen i was studing...... the seasons changed summer winter fall spring then summer i didnt save a dam thing fucken books rent bills parties girls condoms n weed... one day i was bumed i had no fucken money it was hot i didnt want to use the freeken a.c. i open the window n BAM the fucken COLA falls on the floor i had not a crum of weed to smoke but that morning me and my roomate started to dance and prance like lil fucken kids ya thats the longest i ever saved anything hahahahaha......

i have about 8000 in a saving account
i have around 1000 in my debit card about 750 a month from my dad for my apt and food and stuff since im in college. and i also have 26k in investments that was also from my dad. its not really inherited just passed down. out of all that money the 8000 is what i have earned from bussing tables and some from when i managed weed.

Wow,,,Nice dad!!!!,,,I grew up a bassturd,,,on food stamps,,,but really doing better now,,,,,I make my kid's earn there own now,,,It worked for me
