What’s the next right step?

Dry amendments work great. Especially for coco. Why would I wanna feed and mix nutes everyday. I feed every 3 weeks. I added soil and ewc so I don't have to water daily. My plants love it. I will never go back to synthetic nutes. My smoke is smooth without flushing and other crap.
I get it. Grow however you want. It's your plants. I'm just saying, if you're going to use dry amendments, why not use organic soil. I see more of a success rate with dry amendments and soil, than dry amendments and coco.

Wow tough crowd, talk about making people seeking advice uncomfortable. And who the hell is Mr. Canuck??

Hey your plants look good, transplant and keep doing what you are doing but up the cal/mag to 5ml every other watering and those spots will go away. An Epsom salt foliar spray would help as well using 1tsp/gallon.

Good luck with your grow!
You haven't heard? He's a big shot youtube grower. He knows his stuff. Just look at his plants. Here's a screenshot from one of his vids. Look at how he's even got a net.

SulPoMag will do the Mag as well as Sulfur and K.
I use it too. But it's potent. I've had K deficiency in the past and I've experimented with using it to get rid of the K deficiency. However it actually made K deficiency worse. My guess is the Mg locked out the K. I've also heard to use it more for Mg than K. I still use it, just in small amounts.

I just got some potassium sulfate to try sometime when I've got some plants to experiment with. That should answer my question if it's the Mg locking out the K since potassium sulfate isn't supposed to have the Mg.

You keep saying this like you're growing in coco. You're not. Stop it. Once you mix it, it's no longer a coco grow.
Agree to disagree. Its mostly coco. And he is amending with ewc and dry nutes so does that make it NOT coco any longer in your eyes. If u can mix a living soil why can't u mix coco? All brands are now mixing the 2 together. They use peat which I don't like so I mix what works well for me.
And why would I not inform him of options that DO work instead of following the herd of sheep that do only what they've been told.

Hey I like the way you think.
Hells Bells up until a couple years ago I thought coco was just an abbreviation for coconut.
When I started the only experience I had indoors was over 20 yrs ago, when we would veg the plants under fluorescents and take them to some family property on top of a nearby mountain. I didn’t know all the vernacular that is so common today. We planted them in the dirt…..left them alone other than visiting about once a month to sprinkle on some fertilizer.
Lucky for me the soil was damn good for growing pot and every year we harvested a few whoppers.
So when I decided to try indoor gardening about 3 yrs ago, it was a whole new learning curve.
The only thing that was similar was recognizing when the buds were ripe.
It’s hard enough to figure all this stuff out without having to deal with getting chastised for calling coco by that name if I’ve added this or that. Who gives a fuck?
I may try the same amendments with soil in the future…..but I may not. Just because some goofball from Canada apparently created a following of haters and burned the crap out of his plants has nothing to do with me.

Once you add soil, it's a fucking soil grow. The clue is in the word soil.
Correct me if I'm wrong but ff calls it a coco blend.
Call it what u will. So why even mention there is coco in there? Its just a soil grow rt? Because it changes how u f'n treat it. Why specify living soil if its all got microbes in it? Please educate me with all your massive knowledge. Thanks in advance.

coco has a low cec, making it difficult for a living soil. Not saying you can't use it, it just makes it harder to work with. Do a search on here for coco/dry amendment grows. More end up in failure than success. That's why it's not advocated.

FF calls it coco loco to fool uninformed people into buying their product. Then they come here thinking thay're growing in coco and wondering why they' re having problems.
Also, almost no one actually grows cannabis in that crap. For reasons.

Same for all new growers before they learn how. Folks told me that before I figured it out myself.
Most guys on here are posting for help and trying it for the 1st time. Or they give up cus folks giving their opinions and not facts which usually is twisted and mixed with bad advice.

Who told u that? Fake news. Once u know how to grow u can grow in anything.
Once u can read your plants and understand what they ask for its no difference. Light, feed and water. Super simple. People be thinking this plant needs super special treatment. Its a weed it will grow.

Changing the subject does' t make your grow a coco grow. Keep reaching.

Op FYI if u adding ewc u can bump your ph up to 6.3-6.5 is the sweet spot for me. Try it. Coco is an inert medium u can treat as u please once u understand it. Adding ewc takes it out of the hydroponic grow style so yes treat it more like a soil at that point.

And folks be hating on my Canucks. He's an entertainer. Be fair and show some of his nice plants too. He has learned and got better as everyone else has. If u never tried new things or experimented then u will not progress and grow as a grower.

Do you have a journal we could check out by any chance? We could all learn from your expertise from the sounds of it.
