What's the proper ph for growing in promix

Hey there, I'm growing in promix bx is there anybody else that's growing in this medium. I ph my water between 5.8-6.2. Is this correct? I've read multiple websites say 6.5-7. Others say something else any help would be appreciated. I'm using medi-one for my nutes it says to ph to 5.8-6.3. My flowing nuts say to ph to 5.8. Do I just ph my water/nute mix to. What it says the the bottles labels?

6.5 - 7 is a bit too high, deffo stick at 5.8, have you tried just checking the pH of run off out of the bottom of your pot though, I have never pH'ed in soil as the soil generally buffers the solution to whatever the pH of the soil is. Maybe save you a bit of effort...

Promix is a "soiless" mix. With soiless mixes you use hydro ph ranges which are around 5.8 or so.

I add dolimite lime to my pro mix as well. And I've been staying at 6.0 to 6.2 almost killed my crop because my grow bible said to use baking soda for a ph up. So now have a lock out. Just trying to correct the prob.... Can't believe everything u read I guess
