Whats this plant telling you?

It's week 6 here... buds aren't as fat as I think they were last run. This pheno seems nitrogen hungry to me.... but I'm not sure what dark edges of the leaves means.

It was quite pale strain compared to others in the room last run but it did well...

Any thoughts?

What light are you using and what intensity? I'm finding quickly that any pretty decent LED at full output can stress a plant to eat itself literally. If lighting is ok, then we'd have to look at your feeding schedule and medium

Light is OK... same light as before... hlg 288 v1 boards.... plenty of height.

In coco... 1 large water a day dtw. Ph is 6. Ec is 1.8

Use base nutrients hydroponic research veg+bloom up takes my 0.75 ec water up to 1.5 and then add 0.3 of shine. So it ends up at 1.8.

Temps are 27-28c day 20c night. Loads of ait movement.

Other plants are looking good in colour but are also looking smaller than I expect

I would test the run off ime 1.8ec is a bit rich especially so if coupled with lower humidity levels.
Run some half strength nutrient through your coco and test the ec.

Calcium. Water source is what? And light is a bit much. Nice red leaf stems are indicators. No bad. Just really close. LOL.

I think you may be right about it being nitrogen though, if you cut the N abit hard by using bloom nutes sometimes its not enough N for all strains.
Whatever you do be sure to test the run off.
ME HUNGRY FEED ME MORE

Increase base feed strength.
Not sure about them being hungry....

Run off reads an ec of 4.5 and a ph of 5.5.

So the ph isn't WAY too low but the ec is high in the medium. I added some RO water to the tank and it brings it down to 1.5ish. I'll give it a few days and then push it back up if it doesn't look OK. This one defo needs more nitrogen to keep her green... all hard to do in a room of 6 plants with 5 different phenos or strains

I can't recall a deficiency in anything that's in full profile nutrients, I'm not saying I've not had problems but they've been 99% of my own making through run off, ec/ph or environment, Ime full profile nutrients are just that, if i keep the ec right and sufficient run off i won't go far wrong.

Test/alter your nutrient until you have 0.3-4 raise between feeds if the run off comes back higher lower ec, if the ec comes back lower raise the ec and that should keep you around right for the plant.

Veg and bloom is a one part powder. The shi e is the flower part... I think the issue might be that my water ec is high... like 0.7

The pack says if your ec is over 0.3 then mix it with ro water... so maybe I need to do that so I can add more base....

Challenge is my RO machine doesn't have a pump so it takes about 4 days to fill 100 ltrs

Ah right ok, I'm basing that on tap water that's 7.2ph and less than 50ppm/0.0ec so it's a bit different, i hope it works out for you though.
