whats up with this leaf

a few of my leafs are looking funny as shown in photos

would you say not enough calcium and low vpd as my humidity was down in the 30s for a week plus temps in the low 22/23c range

in compensating for a low vpd i upped my feed so maybe its nutrient burn although i dont think it is

i have been feeding base veg nutrients @ around 400 ppm plus added cal mag and epsilons salts bringing it up to around 600ppm . this is only showing on a few lower leaves

i have had this in the past but it was a long time ago. my ph is normally on point keeping it from 5.8 letting drift up abit though the week ending @ 6.3 before i re adjust

The main problem is the leaf is no longer attached to the plant (:
haha true she has lots more

im not sure if i should up my cal mag abit? could be wrong but isnt calcium a immobile nutrients so it needs the transpiration to move though the plant

like i said my rooms abit cold and my humidity is in the 30-40% so she isnt transpiring allot

i personally think im feeding too heavy as i normally feed no more then 500ppm

i know the real answer is get my temps and humidity in check but i since i cant as i am not running a heater or humidifier for a 2x2

what would my next option be?

the rest of the plant looks ok but i have a feeling it will spread with in the week if left alone or not haha

like you said ppm is a lil high. i think you have the right idea about humidity & temp. it's too bad you can't buy a room humidifier

if i was running a bigger grow i would

i was considering a bucket of hot water to bring it up but it be too much work for my liking. cheap easy fixes is what i like

Try a hung towel and water container for the towel to soak water from
i run hydro so i have my res what normally give me enough humidity. i think ill just pay the higher electricity bill and add a small heater unfortunate that mean more money spent and less point to growing over just buying a few OZ

Lowering RH raises VDP. . Outside the sweet zone on the high end if your in veg. The plants are transpiring hard.

For humidification in that size try googling water bottle ultrasonic humidifiers. You can control it with an inkbird humidistat. D3049923-8D33-4AEB-A89A-116029717935.jpeg

i dont exactly understand what you mean by that

i think i know low rh means the air can absorb more moisture but with the room being cold plus low rh mean not much transpiration in turn low nutrient transfer

high temps plus low rh = too much transpiration stressing the stomata

high rh and high temps means the plant wants to transpire but cant because the air already has too much moisture

i could be very wrong. im still coming to grips with VPD

It’s all relative. As in relative humidity. So at 22-23 and say 30 percent humidity there is 1.6 millibars of pressure pulling on the water in the plant

Yes the green is where you want to be. That spread sheet is for veg. I have another for bloom. In bloom you can get away with higher VDP.
