I tried to search but "ph" is too short...

I just got my Hanna meter today and decided to test my tap water. My PPM was predictably high (338) but what kinda shocked me was that my pH was over 9! Maybe it supposed to be that high I dunno, possibly due to chlorine? (i did leave it to sit for 24h)

lol.. i tried to give my plants tap water after its sat for 36, yeahh my planta went into some fucking ridiculous shocked PH problems..

idk if where i live has anything to do with it, but we have really hard water here, so the ppm is very low and idk

everything got fucked, so i have only distilled..

awry, your water is soft not hard the higher the ppm's the harder the water. My tap waters ppm is 580 (Hard water) with a ph of 7.5.

Now i only use RO water which has a ph of 5 and 0 ppms, my plants are loving it!

EC 0.8 / 400ppm at 8.3 pH right out of the outdoor spigot. This is not run through the water softener, and I'm on city water in the midwest USA.

Early on, when my target ppm's were low, I'd mix 50% tap and 50% distilled water for my rez. Now I just use the tap.

hmm, seems im still the highest. Guess florida water just sucks? :/

I think I might do a 50/50 mix, comparing the difference between them.

OH YEAH, Florida water sux BIG TIME (unless you live in the Zephyr Hills area). Our water (Monroe County) starts out really bad in Miami, and by the time it travels 140 miles thru the aqueduct, it really is horrible. Pour a glass of tap water and let it sit for a few minutes. You'll get a nice layer of whoknowswhat kind of a precipitate at the bottom. Fla water is bad, the water in the Keys is unfit for human consumption.

My tap water after sitting 24 is around 8. I use some bullseye 6.5 to get it down some. I used that to get it down because that's all I could find around right now. I would like it around 5.8 but I couldn't find any pH down around so I just got the stuff that regulates it at 6.5. Rather have it at 6.5 than 8!

Hi. I live in Florida in South Beach, Miami. Haven't tested the water yet but know how to make it pure healthy and holy! Just read like five books by V.Zeland. They got a few solutions. First one needs to distill water with water distiller then you let it sit with shungite rocks for around 24 hours then you use electroactivator to activate water and make it alive for around 40 min! After that you could use aquadisk to make it holy ie have holy water qualities! If you are interested in details feel free to contact me and I will provide explicit info on how where to read about all of this and get it free!
