What's worse - curing your bud when it's too damp, or too dry?

I guess the real question i wanted to ask is how easy is it to over dry it if you're curing in a 55% RH controlled room? i.e. if you are delayed by a day, is that enough to over dry it?

if you have a controlled room and you know you are gonna be delayed by a day or so I would set the rh to 60% to be sure.. but at 55% a day late wouldn't ruin it

Perfect, thanks for that. I'll go for 60% in the room then. Silly question, if the room RH is 60% - can the bud get any lower than that? ii.e. will the bud always stay at 60% the same as the room?

yes.. should be able to leave it in there indefinitely if the room is secured at 60% rh
Thanks ! I'm going to set the room for 62% for drying, then I guess it doesn't matter if I'm a few days late to get to it. That's awesome, saves me a lot of hassle because my grow/drying room is an hour from my house.
