What’s wrong with my plants, did I screw up?

I guess what I'm asking is if blumats work well with large pots (5-20gal) or only w/smaller pots?

@Michael Huntherz just wondering if the blumats make the plants have a small root system? I recently bought 17 autopots w/airdomes for about $60/plant and another grower mentioned that I should have checked out blumats first. I had already bought them so I didn't bother to check em out.... that is until I saw this thread. Nice job!
The biggest soil rootballs I have personally had were using Blumats, but my experience is only with them and hand watering, SIPs probably are better, maybe, but it is a ton of water and nutes comparatively.

Yeah the autopots are using a ton of water. One res I'm feeding Remo nutes @50% strength to 8 plants in botanicare readygro Coco coir/castings/perlite mix, about 6 gal of water I collect from an underground spring every five days week 2 of 12/12.
The other res is feeding only spring water to 4 ambrosia plants potted in Bluesky Organic's super soil and they get 6gal every 8-10days.

Work great on 5 gallon smart pots, any bigger and you might want to use two “carrots” per container

Awesome, thanks for the info, I will consider trying these when I can afford to get more stuff.

Your plants look great, I hope mine will look half as good as them in a few more weeks.

This is right now, 15 days since flip 12/12IMG_20180805_182727.jpg IMG_20180805_182744.jpg IMG_20180805_182834.jpg
There would have been 16 but 4 ambrosia were males so I lost a 1/4 of my crop.
Green cages are bc god bud (pink pistil pheno clones)
3 black cages are bc Rockstar (harmony phenotype clones)
1 black cage is a joti ambrosia as well as the other 4 without cages. (Tallest plants)

I'm leaving town for roughly 12 days... going to setup two blumat systems to protect and water/feed 2 reveg (lemon cheesecake and NL5 skunk plants I chopped down weeks ago), 8 large manifolded and topped 7 gallon fabric pots ( 2 white widow, clones of lemon cheese and NL5sk) and 8 young 2.5 gallon sqr pot clones, recently topped.

Any tips or advice on setup, number of carrots for sizes etc.

GPS orange blossom special, cookies n chem, blizzard bush and Shoreline Genetics Sour Glue

9 plants on one blumat dripper reservoir, plants in different media... rockwool, coco,

Sorry for the late question, but what medium did you find best or did they all work the same, I am currently looking at running blumats but cant decide on coco or rockwool? Do you have any advice? Appreciate any help

Look into Tupur Royal Gold. It's a balanced coco mix with biochar, which really helps with buffering.
