Hey guys whats going on?
I am on day 6 of my NL auto and Skunk #1 Auto grow and things are going decent.... I did have a slight overwatering problem on Monday, but the soil is seeming to dry up pretty nicely and they are continuing to grow. They are in 5 Gal buckets with FFOF with a mix of extra perilite and a small amount of vermiculite. Right now they are around 24" or so away from a 600w MH. I have just watered them with pH'd water so far, no nutes yet. Thinking of using General Organic's BioRoot next week to help with root growth. Both strains are by Sensi seeds, there are 4x NL's and 3x Skunk #1's. All of the Skunk's look absolutely perfect, and most all of the plants are beginning to form their third / fourth set of leaves today.
Anyways.... Here is my issue, if it even is an issue, might just be a little too critical right now. Anyways, today, I noticed on two of my NL's that the veins of the second set of leaves are slightly yellow, the leaves are still green however there looks to be tiny yellow lines on the leaves around the veins and the outer edges. Not sure if this had anything to do with the overwatering episode from the other day or what? Both are just starting on their third / fourth set of leaves, and other than that look pretty healthy, the newer leaves seem to have a yellow tint as well, the ones that are slightly yellow are the biggest / fastest growing girls yet though. Also the little jaggies on the edges of the leaves seem to be slightly curling (just a little funny looking). The stem between the soil and the cotyledons was a little bit stretchy, so I moved some soil from the topsoil around the rim of the bucket and put some soil about halfway up to the cotyledons. I am planning on adding extra soil once I reach the third or fourth node.
I really would like to know about the slight yellow lines on/around the veins on my second set of leaves of my NL's Does anyone have any thoughts about this? Is there anything I can do to correct this, if this even is a problem. They definitely look different than the others at this point though, this one was directly under the 600w MH light, which is around 24 inches above them right now, so I moved the yellow looking ones to the outer edge of the garden for today and see if that makes a different, the other ones right under the light do not show this however.
I took these pics with them out of the grow area so the MH light does not mess with the images any. Please let me know what you guys think about this little girl...
+Rep for any answers and suggestions!
