hey people whats good...got a ez cloner from a bro...its the ez 60....he used it for a round of clones and had no luck...I cleaned it with bleach water

I took 5 different strains... ph my water to 6.0.... temp is 78*F..... added 8ml of root excel & 1 1/2 oz clear rez to 8 gallons water

Couple of my clones have gotten roots but as they are rooting the are slowly wilting??? WTF

Its been almost 2 weeks and a few are starting to die slowly....really slow root devolpement....roots are a nice white color

Any input appreciated

Did you treat the cuttings with a rooting agent before putting them in plugs? Water is a little warm from my experience and the PH needs to drop a couple .10ths.

well from my experience is that the ez cloner is as it says,,its so easy to clone that you have to be doing something wrong. ok first we need more info.. do you have them under a dome? Are the roots getting light?(light on roots are bad),,I use olivia's rooting gell and straight water, cover with a dome for the first week and then remove,I have rooted clones with in 2 weeks and a 99% success rate,,MORE INFO THE BETTER

ez cloner 60 not so ez....got a 32 watt 4 ft t-8 about 15 inches above the clones

no need for a dome these are 2 week old cuts...the few that started to wilt waited until they starting rooting which took 8 days....1 has died

I used clonex rooting gel..... change the water once a week.....my tap comes out 7.0 i ph down to 6...the ambient temp is 75 in the room

Might just need a couple more days. Did you mist? I've never used an ez cloner, but misting and humidity domes seems to help. A lot of clone success depends on the health of the mother plant - you want to make sure to feed it good a couple days before you take the clones - you can even foliar feed the clones if you really want to get fancy. I will say that, judging by the pics, they look healthy, not underfed.

Clonex is good shit, don't change that.

I think your temps are just a bit too high, not to say that it won't work I just would take it down to about 72 if you are able to. A small frozen water bottle helps I find if your just needing to lower the temps a few degrees.

Good luck and happy growing.

How many days has it been? When cutting them do you have a cup of pre ph'd water and leave them in there? I have had better and faster results by taking the cuttings and putting directly into water and then putting into a fridge for 24 hours then dipping in cloning gel preferrable olivias or azos then put to the cloner. After coming out of the fridge it usually takes 5 days but if I dont follow those steps it takes more like 10-12 for all of them to start to have roots.

By the way temps are not the problem its either ph or the cutting process. Be careful when taking cuttings. The reason why water is so important is if any air gets into the cut point they will either dye or take a long time to heal.

Water temps are big problem with ezcloners. Also they don't make domes for the systems. Use cloning gels let sit for a few hours without running water. Day 2 foilor spray twice a day. Roots can take up to 3 weeks.

Warlock is right, i have had far more success using a dome. try using a makeshift dome, hope it helps
