Mini bic's are too small. I have a hard time with them.

How do you open a bottle with a lighter?
turn your lighter round, so the flint/flame bit is in your grasp like your holding a knife, grip the bottle real tight and putting lots of pressure on your thumb, put the lighter underneath the bottle cap and push up against your knuckle and the cap will flip off. cool trick.

I don't get why so many like bics. The wheels can be a bit hard to turn and they don't adjust any more. More and more I end up getting one that is too weak these days and the flame just goes out when hitting a bong. The new bics that are electric spark are even weaker.

Of the standard lighters my preference is djeep by a mile, especially after breaking off the safety tab, but they aren't cheap.

I also don't get near the life the rest of you claim with bics. Maybe it's cause I smoke cigs and bake with bongs all day and night. I'd love to get a month per disposeable lighter but it rarely happens.

Who else here has a permanent callus (sp?) on their thumb from flicking lighters so much?

clipper all the way, get em free from growell too. got growell clippers everywhere. bics are ok, but not refillable or reflintable?? lol. Zippos stink and make ya joint taste like jet fuel lmao and i know they dont blow out in the wind n all but have you ever tried to light a joint or skin up a joint of hash in strong wind with one? the flames all over the place!

to the clipper users, who prefers the old clipper round wheel or the new pentagon shaped wheel? im used to em now but it was a culture shock when they changed em, even thought about switching lighter brand, but i persisted with the pentagon wheel and stayed loyal to the clipper.

bic is best for your buck

i could do a commercial

even those cheap 3 for a buck ligheters end up being more of a waste.. 1 out of 3 dont work and they dont last half as long.. and for some reason the stem doesnt go all the way down
