Hey everybody!

I've been pursuing a project of mine that I hope will bring cannabis into "normalcy"... It would be crazy awesome if you would share your story with me! I want to know about your relationship with cannabis and the community we find with one another! Honestly I want to hear it all, the process, sucess, failures, struggles, and victories!

If this is too public of a place and you would still like to share just send it on over privately!

One Love!

My appreciation for cannabis came initially from a non-medicinal love for the high. Not only on myself but the times that came from it with friends and loved ones. Having grown up surrounded by plants (mother is a heavy gardening addict) it only came natural I should grow. My first plant I grew I was thirteen, it ended up being a heavy sativa and was twice my height. Although I received minimal if any flower from it I was hooked from the beauty and size alone. I smoke less and less as time goes on it would seem, my real addiction is growing...it's in my blood

@Indagrow thankyou for sharing!
I feel your love for the plant man! I was also immediatly taken with my first grow, I always knew there would be no turning back!
I'm curious, as someone who loves cannabis like you do, If you could set the standard for cultivation what would you want to see ? Not so much general methodologies for example hydro vs. soil or F.I.M vs topping. specifically what do you think should be done to uphold the integral growing of cannabis if its being cultivated for a paitent or consumer?

@RM3 Thankyou for the input!

I'm all about preserving those true genetics! Definately a focus of mine!
As a grower what have been the obsticles you've had to overcome? What were the resourses you have/not have and what would have made it easier?
What do you think can be done better? I've been in AZ working with some gardeners and i've caught wind of some dispensaries products and practices and I have to say it's insanely sub par... Althoug I wasnt too impressed with the CO dispensaries product either :(

Disclaimer: I may be a bit snobby as far as what I purchase considering most of us grow our own absoloute fire! Then there's the issue of "budtender" knowledge or their lack of...

I've never even been to a dispensary, but have sampled some of their sub-par wares

I grow as simple as possible as my grow is just for me, I breed because I enjoy it and yes I share my gear for free.

There was a time way back (early 80's) when we got a jack hammer and tore up a basement floor to get to dirt and grew a nice large garden usin street lights, yes we climbed the poles and took em then wired em above the meter on the house. Would be hard to do these days.

Ah reminiscing on my mis-spent youth LOL

I grow because i like getting stoned.
Ive always though my personality was a bit to the left in regards to anger and moodswings etc and cannabis to me seems to make me "normal"
I never ever sell but last year i helped 3 ppl with the gifts...one with cancer who could eat after radiation treatment,one with severe knee and back pain and a 19 yr old girl with autism...
That girl is close to home and made me cry when i seen what a bit of weed only once a week done for her..shes my daughter.

@rubyfruit!
Thankyou for sharing! It's heartwarming to see so many people willing to provide medicine to others in need no to mention the improvement patients make when they finally get the treatment they need! What do you feel is missing from the industry/community ? What would you like to see happen with cannabis in the next couple years?

I would like to see it legal on a recreational basis ..a lot of ppl dont have a so called legit problem a doctor can prescribe for but those ppl who dont have a legal script smoke because they feel better and grow because it pleases them...
