The title says it, I just received a batch of OG Kush seeds, but they were harvested about 3 weeks ago. When I can germinate them? I really hope I can do it now, 'cause I'm just at the time to start the next vegetation.
This I like...sure I've heard of guys firing off, quick as ...but the germ results were pitiful, I can't prove it, but IMHO,I do think they need some space, like a rest.. implying in human eyes that the drier the seeds are before germination, the further from the mother plant they are or should read the more dead the previous generation is...the less crowded the grow are is, the more food waiting ..but thats human thinking for you? ..lolI would put them in the fridge for atleast two weeks. I always have much, much better germ rates with fresh seeds after they have had some fridge time. When I say much much better, I mean much much better. Like 5 out of 10 before compared to 9 out of 10 after.
I store mine in the crisper box. Whatever temperature that is. Not the freezer, just the fridge.Sure thing, but by in the fridge, how cold was there?
How come you question your thinking at the end? It makes perfect sense. Plants etc have evolved to survive and propagate...This I like...sure I've heard of guys firing off, quick as ...but the germ results were pitiful, I can't prove it, but IMHO,I do think they need some space, like a rest.. implying in human eyes that the drier the seeds are before germination, the further from the mother plant they are or should read the more dead the previous generation is...the less crowded the grow are is, the more food waiting ..but thats human thinking for you? ..lol

putting them in the fridge will not dry your seeds...if anything your stopping them from drying......seeds should only be kept in cold storage after there dry properly and preserving them for long periods of time....I would put them in the fridge for atleast two weeks.
