They are probably ready, they just look like shit because of how improperly they have been grown.
If you enjoy the grow experience I would suggest doing some serious research on how to set up a proper grow space.

Do you have a magnifier to look at the trichomes?
It isn't how long they've been growing, but how long they've been budding--
and I really GOTTA ask-- did you switch to 12/12 lighting, and how did you keep light-leaks out?

We've done grows under just CFL's lots of times-- it CAN be done and done well-- and those may not be "maxed out" but are a good start for a 1st time grow!!

No i dont have a magnifier might have to go and get one! theyve been budding around 10 weeks and yes there on 12-12 there are light leeks which i cant sort out because of my cabbinet just going to have to wait for my tent to solve that problem i think :)

See he didn't take it as negative.
The buds are covered with red pistils that are receding. I dont see any white at all. The real answer is get a scope and check trichomes, but that seems like a waste of time typing. So instead, I will say, they look ready to me, they just don't look like the "normal" ready because they were improperly grown.

Yep u need a magnifier to check for sure, at least a 30x. Then when u check look for milky trichomes, if they are mostly clear its not quite ready and if mostly amber chop it straight away as over done. If you cant get your hands on a mag i'd say they are probably done looking at colour of hairs. Looking at your set up you hav'nt done half bad, get some decent kit and I reckon you'll do well.

you want most of the trichomes to be amber colored..like 50 60%
What??? This information is very incorrect. If you don't know the answer yourself please don't advise when you could potentially ruin someone's crops. Just for next time amber trichs are degrading THC turning to CBN, Thanks and happy Growing -SOHIGH-
