Hey when should i switxh to flowering? I got both my seedlings from my local pot shop they were started on may 1st i bought them on may 10th ive been growing outside in sunshine #4 growing mix there in 5 gallon pots and using GH flora series micro/gro/bloom heres photos 1st 2 pics is scout master other 2 pics is sour diesel both are hybrids

you mean switch to the flowering nutrients? if you're growing outdoors the plants will switch to flower by themselves. you'll notice them double in size and sprout flowers. then you switch to flowering nutrients if such a switch is to be made.
Ah ya thats what i thought just wanted to make sure ive been using nutes since may 16th so when start seeing flowers then you switch feeding to the flowering stage on the feed chart?
Also off topic one of my seedligs the bottom leafs are going yellow this mean i should transplant them into bigger pot and start feeding it they turning yellow cause they need nutes ? There in sunshine #4 growing mix the other seedling is growi g great no yellowing but this other one is getting worse its been through alot this seedling calling it survivor there bag seeds theyve been growing in a window with a cfl bulb on them

yes if its yellowing it could be hungry. or it could be pH issue. sunshine mix is inert so plants will always need a light nutrient solution pH to 6.5
Ya figured they need nutes my water is already ph at 6, the other plant has been fine with just water but i think its time to put them in bigger pots should i put them in a 3 gallon then later on to a 5 gallon or just put them in a 5 gallon pot

If you are growing outside then you should put them in pots that are bigger than 5 gallon. Plants that are grown outside grow pretty large and those won't be going into flower for at least another month.
Can you grow them in 5 gallon pots outside? I already have those other 2 plants that are in 5 gallon pots and there outdoor also

It could also be overwatering by the way the leaves are drooping down instead of looking perky.

You can but they will be harder to care for and will eventually need to be watered constantly due to them filling the pots with roots.
It was early early morning when took the pics, ive been pretty good at not over watering i just watered them this morning they were pretty dry im prettt sure it needs some nutes
Ya starting to notice that all ready usually can go 5 days with out watering but now its 3 days its been cloudy and on and off rain for 2 weeks temps 50-65 just yesterday and tkday its been sunny and warm, ive been thinking put these seedlings in the ground do you need to feed them when there in the ground ?, i still have hudge bag of sunshine #4 so prob should use it up

That really depends on the makeup of the soil in your ground there. Most people who grow straight in the ground usually top dress around the trunk of the plant with organic amendments (worm castings, blood meal, store box premixes, etc). Whether you grow in pots, or in the ground, I would suggest putting a mulch layer of straw (or something similar) on top of the soil. This will help retain moisture longer and help keep the soil cool .
Ya im not sure my mom grows strawberries there thats the area there its right against the house

A single plant could take over that whole area, by the time it's ready for harvest, unless you keep trimming her back during veg.
Haha thats what i thought im gonna buy a grow tent for my next grow still do couple outside

I find indoor growing to be a lot more relaxing and enjoyable. Unpredictable weather and bugs just ruin outdoor growing for me. I have some going outside now, and they are healthy, but I get covered in ticks every time I go out to check on them.
Ya ive been dealing with bugs thrips and aphids and earwigs are eatting holes through my leafs i didnt think earwigs ate plants but i looked it up and they do i keep finding an earwig on my plant every morning i got neem oil but not sure if that kills earwigs im def getting a grow tent plus where i live in chilliwack bc canada its in the valley so its either crazy windy or not windy
Will i have to transplant my plants in bigger pots before flower? There in 5 gal pots now just worries about rootbound

Been growing since may 15th is when transplanted them into sunshine #4 and sdid 1st feeding with GH flora series nutes micro/gro/bloom
Scoutmaster is 2'9ft tall
Sour diesel is 2'6ft tall
Weather keeps changing get 2 or 3 days of 75-80 then cloudy and rainy days its 50-60 and theres been alot more cloudy rainy days then sun this summer
So should i leave them let them flower on there own or should i start flowering earlier since there in 5 gallon pots worried bout rootbound or will they be fine in 5 gallon pots and let them flower on there own when the days start getring shorter
