When do I transition the type of nutrients used?

When do I transition fro using vegetative nutes over to flowering nutes. My girls are potted in soil outdoors and started showing their sex about 3 days ago (little white hairs at the joints). I've also noted that they're still growing at a decent rate so I know I'm near the transition. Do I keep up with high N until further into flowering when buds officailly appear or there are most white hairs? Or do I cut back on N and increase P and K now that I know flowering is iminent?
