When do Plants quit Stretching ????

My plant is starting its 4th week in 12/12 and its been shooting up an inch to an inch and a half every day.... Its 5 ft tall including the pot and starting to run out of room under my hid lamp.... When will it quit stretching... Hopefully within the next few days. It was 22 inches tall when I first put it in 12/12 and now the plant heighth is approx. 44 inches tall ... Including the pot its 5' 2" tall.... Quit growing already... LOL

I usually plan on the plant tripling it size~
So 22" x 3= 66" + 8"(pot)= 74"
I try to flower at 15" - 18" at the most
Did you top the plant?

^^absolutely it may double but plan for tripple

Tie down much?

Nope... I didnt top it.... But its in Bud right now... So Screw that idea... lol But, damn three times its height ?? Wow, Thats like bigger than i expected... Thanks for the info dudes... I guess I might go with the tie down method if I have to.. ... This Is a pretty kool site to be at.
