When do you cut off Yellow Leaves or Do You? See Pics

Please see attached pictures. The lower Leaves have turned Yellow so I think it's a nitrogen deficiency. I have increased the nitrogen levels but im wondering if it's too late for these to recover? should I just cut the yellow leaves so they don't slow down the rest of the plant?

are you flowering? and cut them if they are more than 50 percent dead.. those arent. if they start wilting chop em... but other than that they can come back. Unless you are in flowering and its comeing up on harvest..

that's a pretty yellow, if only it weren't bad huh?

But yeh, leave 'em, they could come back pretty easy.

o damn my bad i was totally looking aqt the pic wrong... haha so now that i know what im seeing ya man just chill you just got the clones... if the roots show through, you should pot them.. and water them.... depending on the soil your using, nute them or wait a little... the yellowing is because they arent in their medium, other than the rockwool so the roots r fucked up or its growing new roots and since i dont see a medium its prolly the first.. put it in the medium! make sure the medium has good drainage (soil) put a good amount of perlite along with a 2 inch perlite layer of the bottom of your pot

Hmmm, interesting point. However, I saw my friend grow with Rock Wool and they
were fine for a while before transfering them. Would Grow Rocks be sufficient medium?

yes if you are using hydro and rockwools fine but you need a place for the roots and once the roots poke through the bottom they should be transplanted...

dude you avoided my question no its not a N problem I asked what medium you are going to usecor did you just take them??? If you dont wanna answer that i cant help you

oh sorry, they are currently just in the rock wool only. I am using general hydroponics for nutrients.
They are only about 2 weeks old. The roots are not popping out the bottom yet

I think it's a nitrogen problem. Also, pH could be a factor. Keep it between 5.5-6.3 and you should be fine.

5.5-6.3? That seems kinda low. I thought the idea was to shoot for about 6.5 ?
The ph is a light green when i test it. Should it be more yellow?
I did add some more micro i hope that helps

Yes, I know it sounds low, but if you're growing in rockwool hydroponically, that's where you need to keep it. Rockwool has large amounts of silica in it that raise the pH of nutrient solution, so if you already have it set to 6.5, there will eventually be deficiencies. Magnesim will be definitely get locked out, and that will trigger a chain reaction of other deficiencies. I try to keep mine at 5.8 during flowering, and 6.2 at the most during vegetative.

ohhhhhhh really....wow...Thanks for the heads up. So when I test it with the ph tester it should
be yellow not light green? How can I bring it down without shocking the plant?

Refer to my last post.

Phosphoric acid (pH down) will lower your nutrient solution. You don't have any of that? If so, get some. Also get pH up. pH is critical. :peace:

Yes, I have both of those. I know
how to do that. I was just wondering
what color the ph should look? More
yellow or more light green?
Also What do you recommend
for PPM during veg and blooming?
Thanks for all your great advice
I really appreciate it kiss-ass

Ever situation is different. I can only pass along what's worked for me, but...you're welcome. I don't know what color bro. Doesn't your pH testing kit have a color chart? Refer to that or get a pH meter.

Yes, it does. Do you have a link or
info on ppm guide for hydro?
