when do you plant?

hey i got a little late start this year wit my outdoor crop... i didnt get the last ones in the ground until about 3 weeks ago. i planted the first ones about a month ago. i live in northern cali and i was just wondering about when can i expect my indicas to start budding and also when my sativas will probably start. im just tryna see about how long i got left of growing time. i hope its enough to get a decent crop. they are about 2 feet tall right now. so i would like to hear when some of u guys normally plant outdoors and what part of the country are u in? and maybe if u have planted late before how did ur harvest do in comparison to a year where u started earlier?

1 - plant after first frost, June 1st for me. 2 - plants need to be 4 -6 weeks old to bud, where im at (directly east of you) they bud anywhere from now till begininng of august and continue to grow through september. 3 - if mine were two feet now they would be 4-5 when i pulled em.
