when do you sleep/ wake your plant

it's been really hot in my grow and im about to do what i was hoping i wouldnt have to do i have my lights set up soo when my room-mates get home i dont want them to stare at the lights but it's soo hot i think i should flip the lights so they turn on at like six o'clock at night

Sleep 9 A.M. and wake 9 P.M. I pretty much get away without running the A/C with this cycle.

I have my plants wake up at 7.40 pm, sleep at he same time in the morning.
Keeps temperatures way down.
Also, less interference at night. I have the only accessible door to the plant in my room, so whilst I sleep, I know she's safe :D

I was afraid to ask this question lol but i wanted to know too.

While planning i figured night time 7pm-7am would be best as it's been really hot here during the day but temps (in my attic) are dropping to 13ºC at night. I figured having the lights on at night would mean temperatures are more consistent. But then again i worry about the noise through the night.

i've always vegged in 24 hours of light until this grow i've gone 18/6, lights off at 1400 and back on at 2000. made fighting the heat a lot easier and i really haven't noticed the girls growing any slower.
