thanks man. i wish i could get a definite answer about what i'm looking for. alot of people say that you can use a 30x to see just fine. i just need to know, learn more about what a trich is and what it looks like.i have seen pics but there like 500x magnification and shit. doe's any one know of a pic through a 30x i can look at with maybe a fuckin arrow pointing to it or something, lol i'm goin to give these 2 plants longer, thanks man. i'll post some better pics tomarrow.should i continue to use tiger bloom, big bloom and cha ching for another week or two ?

I bought radio shacks 100x mag glass today and its hard as fuc...k to use..I need 1 of those big circle 1's...lol, they had 1 but only 2x and i figured that wasn't high enough mag....

i would say like two more weeks, and a trichome is the crystal of the buds literally the crystals on the buds. 500x mag would be overkill for trichs. i got a 60 to 100 x and its a bit much i think sometimes. 30 would probably be perfect,

oh and dont wait until you have 80 percent amber trichs thats wayyyy past the due date and its would at that point be considered degrading the tch. id go 80 milky, and 20 amber or less.

U should have smelled bud by not. U must have sun bullshit. Read up on harvest and curing. The smell come out more after cured.

Thats's not entirely true. how much amber or cloudyness depends on the strain. Some don't get amber at all and some go completely amber. the form of the trichome is what really tells you. When its more amber its more CBD when just cloudyness more THC. When the trichome starts to bend and isn't vertical anymore thats when the THC and CBD start to degrade.

well i was just tryin to give him a better harvest window than what some kid told him at the beginning of the thread, in which the kid said wait until you have 80 percent amber which is ludicrious. right now ive got this heavy sativa strain thats 10 going on what is looking like is going to probably be 12 or 13 weeks of flower. ive seen amber trichs for about a week but the buds just arent mature yet.
