when does my purple haze will chance colour?!?!?!

my purple haze plant is 10 week old and still is green with lots of budss... but i heard that i have to drop the temprature under 60F at night to start turning to purple.... is this real?!?!?!
help me plz

It also is dictated genetically and not all supposed purple strains purp. But usually it comes when a it's colder, and b when flushed.

Yes dropping temps can help turn it purple. Its the leaves way of conserving its self and its energy when it gets to cold and theres not really enough light. I belive the purple helps take up certin spectrums of light when it gets to that point alsl but i could b wrong. And i think its chlorophile thats retreating back into the plant that leaves it purple. Also good chance im wrong again but im pretty sure thats whats goin on with cold temps and purple bud

Its also strain dependent to. Some strains will turn and some wont. Some do it without temp changes and some dont. It just depends on the genetics if it can even do it n the first place.

some turn prpl cuz of da genetics others turn prpl when ya drop temp at night dunno about prpl haze i haz never never grown it i aint a fan of 100% sativa strains
