When does skunky smell start?

they start to have a light smell during veging but they don't beome really noticable till flowering.

yeah, if u smell the leaves during veg u can small something but u wont smell nething if ur more than 30cm away. i depends when ur buds start to grow

it's strain dependant usually. Some strains have a very light odor, some heavy, and some even putrid. if you have a strain that is going to be more potent, aka ww, J. expect it to be a little stronger than usual(this isn't fact, just what I have learned by exp.)

I have a strain called Skunk haze (Original haze X Skunk No.1)
It's presently in it's recently sprouted stage (only about 9-10 days old).
Is it normal that even if I actually get down on my knees and smell the plant with my nose touching, it has no actual smell?

I'm guessing I'll have to wait for it to devellop, but I'm just curious, since if it starts to stink too early, it's going to be a small problem.

Any help?

My plants had a light odor early on in their veg. period.....I just assumed it meant I had some good shit, but its my first grow and Im no expert

im at last week of veg with 10 bagseed plants and allready i can smell them outside my house ;p bastards are huge though but its ok.. it only smells like... well it smell green kinda hehe but no marijuana smell yet :)

hell, my short rider is 10 days into veg and if i get close i can smell skunk. no shit. i can only imagine what it'll smell like at harvest!

Yea, just be patient. Some and most strains dont smell until about 4 weeks into flowering. The smell you smell wont be how it smells int he end. Do this, squeeze a bud slightly or rub your finger ont he stalk, that should let you know.

Cheers for the info..... but my plants been grown and harvested already. So I found out for myself :P

My plants started to smell maybe 10days since sprout date...

Now i'm 21 days in since sprout and my whole house smells. I only have 6 plants. one is 14" tall, the other are between 10-12"

It smells day or night. Is this normal?? any input appreciated. BTW, the seeds are from seeded bud.
