well in canada the days become more shorter in september
so plants can go into flowering when it gets 14 hrs of light?????????? cause im in california, they say the best time to plant is april, i put a clone out 2 wks ago and its already startin to show hairs, and we are having 14 hrs of day, and 15 hrs of visible daylight. do u guys think that my plant is starting to flower?..i'll get pics up soon on the journal

I have a blueberry that's going into bud right now, so your plant might be an auto-flowering strain?????

Yes, outside plants will start to flower when the days start to get shorter. Not at 12 hours of light.
The plants hormone levels change from vegetative to flowering as the days get shorter.
Indoors you can change the light to 12/12 and make the change all at once. But outside this change happens gradually day by day.
Once a point is reached, (different for each strain) flowering will be triggered.
So yes your Clone is flowering.
If you want to avoid this you have to match the clones lighting to the daylight hours on the day you put it outside. Shoot for a day with 15 hours of daylight and grow the clones under 15 hours of light.
wow...that seems fucked, i was havin high hopes with my clone until i learned this... now if i leave it as it is, what will happen? this just confuses me becasue its june, we are at some of the longest days in the year and my babie is starting to flower?? i feel like the biggest retard "newb" ever right now. i need to go bong myself to sleep now
