When flowering: uninterupted darkness?

I have heard that it is horrible if your plant sees any light once the lights are off during the 12/12 cycle. I have a question though. Does this mean ANY type of light? even say a regular house light bulb? Cause I'm growing in a rubber maid grow box in my closet and want to start harvest soon. I'm just scared that maybe some light from my room will get in.

Green light bulbs are okay, the plants reflect the light so it won't mess up the light scheduele.
Just don't prolong the exposure

inconsistent light timing is bad for flowering. You need to block out the light. If you have light leaks you will stand a good chance of getting hermies

The regular bulbs in your house are a definite problem if allowed to leak into where ever you are growing.

Even light coming through a covered window can be a problem. But if you are near harvest it is too late to worry now. And don't rely on green bulbs, that's not 100% either.

Green lights bulbs are the party bulbs that have a green tint on them. Like Illegal smile said it will help but don't trust it if you dont have too.

If your talking about them getting light while you are harvesting that is fine. If I remember/heard correct you should harvest in the morning right before the lights turn on.
I have found that alittle light during veg dark cycle does nothing. however during flowering i've tried to make it as dark as possible. I've also wondered, if the moon is out during 12/12 in nature and plants still flower outside with no promblems. What's the difference from a little light creeping in from say a lightbulb in another room? I guess better safe then sorry...........

You know I have had that question and I have had it answered. But I don't remember exactly what the answer is. It has to do with the fact that we are inducing them to grow in a much shorter time frame, so what we do with indoor growing is unnatural to begin with.

The light from a full mood will have an effect. I have been looking into lunar planting and its very interesting. I dont know enough about it yet to start giving out info yet but I will keep studying up on it. indoors we are trying to create a perfect environment and keeping it dark is part of it.

until i finished my new and improved box my first one had three leaks in it i compinsated for this by keeping all the room lights constantly out but my kids always turn shit on ie; hall lights there room lights next to mine my tv runs in my room etc etc as long as its not strong direct light it will be fine as mine are three plants no hermies no stunted growth im very careful about light but i think comon sence says indirect faint light is not going to do damage through cracks..ppp
