When making edibles...

I know you can use trim right when the plant is harvested and use it in cannabutter but if I want to use small little popcorn buds can I just throw them in too or do I actually let em dry out with the rest of the bud? Never made edibles before.

I used fresh frozen to make bubble and then cannabutter after. It turned out great.

So you just used freshly harvest bud but just froze it?
