when should I cut ?

Have a friend who has some nice plants growing took me to see them and i noticed not one red hair has started growing tricones are clear to me he thinks they are cloudy shouldn't there be some red hairs on the buds ? before harvest ??He wants to cut this weekend in two days . Thanks

Well, if there aren't any red hairs and the hairs haven't receded into the buds sounds like your friend has a bit to go. Also if the trichs are clear of course he needs to wait. Are they all clear? Are there any amber trichs? Pics would help, but I'm no pro here.

Tell that fool to wait, my hairs just started turning amber and the calyxes are barely starting to swell, if he waits he will increase his yield by a bunch rather then harvesting in 2 more days... + the smoke would be much better if he'd wait.

Get a 60x loupe. Don't guess, don't estimate. Look at the 'chomes, they'll tell you when to chop.

the pistols will form into shapes of buds, and then after the buds begin to develop and the pistols begin to receed into red hairs, about 3 - 4 weeks id say before harvest More calyxes will swell up and pop up on those buds, So You get White pistols in the beginning and middle-end and until theyved all turned red I dont think theyre ready
