When should I harvest? 8th week starts tomorrow, want amber trichs/couchlock...

Right - my plan was to harvest when I've got mostly amber with a few cloudy...its an 8 week strain and tomorrow is the start of week 8.

I was planning to start the 2 week flush on the 10th and cut on the 24th - would that be too long? Would it start degrading too much do you think? (it'd be at week 10...)

I want it mostly amber but right now I'm only seeing a couple of ambers and a mixture of clear/cloudy all over the main cola - what do you reckon to my timing estimate?

I'm growing another one which appears to be slightly behind, I'm pulling both at once so it should be nice by then...

Opinions? Should I only do a 1 week flush rather than a 2 week and start cutting down on the nutes to half strength like NOW for shorter flush time or what?

(I should also point out I've had 4-5 successful grows but I wanna make sure I get this one just right as its a now obsolete strain...)

Nope its an indica...the other one is more sativa - but then again I'm using a big CFL (125-watt grow light) and in the past they've needed a bit more time flowering for some reason because of it...just don't wanna overdo them and make the potency weak because of it

If you're already seeing some amber I would start flushing now. The window to harvest indicas is about 10 days after seeing amber trichs.

Then again, trichs aren't everything. have the buds swollen up? Hairs receding?

The buds had a swell at the start of week 5 on both plants if that makes any sense - not noticed any recent swell though...I've literally got 2 ambers per 40l trichs, theres still quite a lot of clear - this is the same strain I first grew and I'm SURE there were more ambers when I started flushing (I was using different CFL's which were nearer the tops though)
