When should I start flowering cycle?

I have a plant 36 days old. I need to know when to start flowering. I'm limited to a total height of 3 feet, that includes lights in that box too, so using my CFL's, less than 3 feet tall. Also, does anybody know where to find a good squirrel cage fan to blow out hot air in my attic?

yeah thats y i asked how tall they were lol, i can see them being bigger than a foot...so might need abit of lst

a foot tall from root to tip. from dirt to tip it's only 7 inches, after LSt training. I actually started flowering tonight and will wake them up at 8 am. pics in my gallery, i need new photos soon because they are much bigger and bushier than my gallery shots.

do you have a timer? if not its a must for indoor growing... and fortunatly a 4 dollar at home depot must...

Just picked one up today. set it up for 12/12. It's my first day of flowering. What are some early signs I can look for/photos or examples I should look for to sex my plants. They are showing these pistols people are talking about, coming off the nodes, real pointy.

It's just real good bag seed I used, not ordered. First grow, trying it quickly. Just looking for bud to last me about a month of smoking hopefully is what I am shooting for. I know for budding that HPS systems such as Metal Halide would get me tighter buds, but I don't have 100 or more dollars to spend on lighting. I don't even work right now so money is not even an option. So far I have spent about 20 bucks on lights and thats about it. It's looking pretty good for next to free cost of supplies. Someday I will get Metal Halide setup and all that, but for now this is all I got. Is it possible to survive clones without root compound? That would be great to just take a clone, stick it in dirt and keep it moist and have it survive! Let me know if anybody has successfully cloned without picking up a bottle of root compound before.

Down the road I will get big bulbs for flowering. Is metal halide better than High pressure sodium bulbs? I need low heat if possible. I think MH doesn't get as hot as HPS. I think. Mr. Green on Youtube says he uses 400 watt Metal Halide for flowering and flouros for vegging. Right now I just have the Compact Flourescents, daylight and warm. 4 total bulbs but I only have 3 sockets. I need to wire some kind of device like I have seen, it's CFL lights wired together in series or parallel, I can't tell which wiring diagram to use though. I need help wiring them all to one plug. I'm going to run wire for an electric outlet in my attic, and need help with the series-style wiring of CFL sockets. Has anybody done this or know anything about wiring that could help me out???

I dont know whats hotter HPS or MH... MH is better for veging. HPS better for flowering. but either can be used for both with pretty good results.
those little pointy things your talking about. if their green there not pistols... there something I forgot the name of. but there unimportant so no use learning their name. if there whitish clear their pistols... but they shouldnt come out for about 2 weeks.

Ive hot wired all of my lights lol, i just soldered the wires to the 2 silver connector bits at the base of the bulbs with ballasts built in, and then just stripped about 10inches along the wire and soldered them bits to the bulbs also. ive got about 4 electric shocks from it lol but its not to bad.

haha... I never electricuted myself before... since I started growing... I get electricuted all the time :)

Find Your Self A Willow Branch Put In Water For Three Days This Take Out The Branch And Dip The Clone In The Water It Wrks Like Take Root. Plant Clone In Soil Pod Give Lots Of Light And Love...

Yes, they are green so they are not pistils you say. Since the first day of flowering the green things have grown and pointed up and I mistaken those for female pistils. Let's pray to God I get two ladies!!! I'll post pictures up later today for yall. They are sweet 1 ft tall plants after low stress training them to stay smaller.
