When should I transplant to a bigger pot?

Hey guys...

My clone has been growing for a few weeks and is about 17" right now. She is in a pot about 2 gallons in size. How tall should she be when I move her to a larger pot? I was going to transplant her into a five gallon bucket...would this be okay?

yes do it. roots mostly mimic their foliage. i go to 3.5 gal at 10"-15" max

really? is it that bad? i figured she would recover rather easily, but you think it could kill her?

without knowing your set up you are most likly fine, i was just realy bad starting out... she sounds old enough and well taken care of she should be fine. im pretty interested do you got a grow journal thinggy?

I've been meaning to set one up, but just haven't had the time. When I get it up and going I'll let you know! (i've been keeping one on my own in a word doc.)
