When to add Light?

Been browsing here, havn't found that great of an answer. When is it a suitable time to add some light? Have a nice bulb, like the ones the Pcgrow cases have. It's 2600 Lumens.

When am I able to give the clone direct light? It's the third day since the clone has been cut, it's doing pretty well if I do say so myself.

And light for the roots is a bad idea yes?

you want light immediately. not on the roots but on the foliage. it is white light that stimulates root growth

So white light would be considered as? I'm using a Noma 100 watt, 2600 lumens bulb, can't find a link at the moment for it.

I want the light crazy on it right now? Untill root grow forms for the clone?

absolutely want light on the plant. i dont know what kind of light you have. but regular shop lights or t5 or any white light is good for rooting.

I'm sposed to clip the leaves? I read I'm only sposed to do that if the leaves start to die and turn brown. So far that hasn't happened.
Or am I sposed to do it to encourage the root growth?

Clipping the leaves will slow transpiration.
That is a desirable effect during cloning.
Just trim back the fingers of the leaf, don't cut the whole leaf off.
Kinda like, cut the girls fingers back to knuckles! LOL

Alrighty, here we go. After your help there Sure Shot, this is what I did. Does it look alright? That is the correct thing for the clone yes?

God, I really gotta get some actual materials going, not just make shift. Soon enough!
