When to add nutrients to rockwool seedlings?

Hi,
I was just wondering how long should i wait to add nutrients to my seedlings? I've read that some people give quarter strength of 1/4 tsp per gal after the first week of veg. But I've also noticed people waiting 3-4 weeks. I ask cuz i got some 2 week old DWC plants that i gave nutrients to. I'm gonna flush cuz they seem over fertilized.
(Oh yeah I'm using GH Micro and Bloom). Thanks for your help. Later. :eyesmoke:

going by how old a seedling is isnt the best way to tell when to start feeding. you should go by how many leaves the plant has. some say feed when it has the second set of serated leaves, some say the fourth. i usually start feeding at a very low ppm with the 3rd set of serated leaves.

Cuz of the plants condition i must of overfed them. I didn't know abt the leaf gauge method. Thanks for the info:peace:

if your running DWC you should seriously invest in a PPM meter. when your medium is basically your nute solution you should make sure its in constant check.

start with 200ppm and work your way up.

Ya I'm def gonna buy one. At first i ws jst going to change the solution every week or so. But it's a real pain to measure out such small amounts and keep track of them. Thanks, later.bongsmilie
