Your right there is loads inbreeding and cross breeding going on with seed banks trying to get the best strain out there mainly coming from the states (I’m in the U.K) Where I live you can get Cali weed at £20 a gram it is lovely lovely weed but £20 a gram is redicoulous. When I first started smoking when I was 14 you could pick a ounce up for £100-120 and it was still decent weed to.

Yeah CBD strains is medical based I’ve never ever grew CBD strains never really bothered with them, Do you mind in me asking how old you are? Where you part off the swinging 60s like the all rolling around in mud with Free speech people stoned to bits.

Talking about CBD strains Royal Queen Seeds have some brilliant strains in thats where I get all my seeds from, Ive never had a problem with them before there a brilliant Swedbank along with Sensi Seeds But I’m not to sure wether they do CBD strains.

Those plants got grown under a bunch of T-12 shop lights. Way too tall for that kind of lighting but I still use T-12s for starting plants and they grow nice to about a foot tall then I switch them to a 400W MH. Growing my plants and seedlings under a 400W CMH light right now and they're loving it and growing a lot faster than the fluoros.

Pot here is going pretty cheap. A lady I know dropped by a while ago and said she's getting good pot for $125Can/oz these days and we're way up up northern Alberta not a city like Vancouver. She had some Violator Kush that comes in a can with a peal back top like a can of sardines tho the can is round like a cat food can. Decent stuff.

My buddy gave me some Violator Kush he grew and I found 3 seeds in the bud he gave me. Checked with him and it's not hermie seed but a deliberate pollination with Strawberry Banana Kush so I'll be sprouting them pretty soon. The 3 cuttings he gave me the end of March are Hindu Kush, Dutch Kush and one called Ayahuasca Purple so those are getting big now and I have an AK47 girl that I grew out and re-vegged so it'll be ready to flower soon and then there's 4 Island Sweet Skunk x DJ Short's Blueberry and 4 Sebring's Revenge CBD seedlings. Plus a rooted clone of the Hindu Kush. Ther was a tiny branch at the base of the cutting he gave me that I stuck in some water for 3 weeks before dipping in rooting powder and sticking in a small pot of promix. It's growing good now.

I've been mainly growing sativa dominant strains for years and now up to my ass in Kush plants. Got many of my old faves I want to sprout and cross with CBD but don't want to bite off more than I can chew so pacing things out. Finally going to build an 8x4' addition to my grow room downstairs just for flowering plants. Have a 6' light rail so I can use that with a 1000W Hortilux Super HPS to light up that space.

I smoked my first joint around the same age as you but I think I was just 13 then. That was 1967 so makes me 64 today. Already applied for my old age pension that starts in November. I've been around the block a few times.

Got a 1970 Triumph Bonneville in high school and dropped out. Went back to school when I was 33 for 3 years to get a diploma in environmental chemistry. Couldn't make any decent money doing chem stuff and in 2001 moved to northern Alberta and worked in the oil patch until my health took a bad turn about 5 years ago and haven't worked since. Driving water truck mostly building ice roads or hauling water for oil rigs and when I quit was driving super B tankers hauling oil from well sites to pipeline connection facilities. Never did get a high school diploma.

Did all the usual stuff in that time as well. Had a couple kids, became a single dad when they were 7 and 9 and their mom buggered off, drank a shitload of booze and smoked a lot of pot. Crashed my 3rd Bonney in '83, broke my back then but still walking etc etc. The usual stuff.

Did the rolling around in the mud ripped on good acid, saw a lot of great bands in Vancouver and wish I'd kept all the ticket stubs cause we were always so f'n high when we went I can't hardly remember any. Alice Copper was one of my faves and there were so many more that played in the Coliseum at the PNE grounds and we went to them all.

I've been using bloombastic first as a bloom initiator (works fucking well ) and now to help with the stacking.
I only have a limited supply so I will have to use ordinary Ripener for a week or 2
It seems like a concetrated P/K with added iron., which is important to stop flowers from ageing prematurely.

T-12 shop lights eyyy, I never knew you could grow weed under them I have Uncles around the same age as you and they both say (They are twins) they just used to grow there own weed in the summer find a perfect spot in a hill create a water drip system so they water themselves they would go up every 4 days or say to check in on them and they used to say the bud they got then was good bud, The used to say to me when I was a child summer is the best best part off the year is instead off Christmas, Now I know why lol Becasue everyone knew you could grow weed. Apparently everyone was at it they would find a killer spot to grow 10-15 plants but they are to old to go hiking about now in the hills lol.

I’m presuming you live in the states then? Weed over here you can pay for anywhere from £180 for “normal” weed or £260 for a ounce for “Cali weed” which is as they call it which is extortion but half the time you don’t know wether it actually is Cali weed but people over here love the American smoke specially with you guys having dispenseries and with it all been growing properly and organic, I like my Sativa plants I’ll give you that you can’t beat a lovely tall sativa over a bushy indica. I just wish I had the room in my tent for sativas I have 2 sativas outside in my garden but the England weather is hit and miss, It was brilliant last year and I got some good results with it the sativas where very very tall lol

Wowwww sounds like you have lived a life dude I would off loves to roll around in mud full off Acid and Weed listening to great music where as now you go to see a band and everyone has there smartphones out, It’s just not for me, Enjoy the music man!

Pot is legal here now tho it's really Prohibition 2.0 and the legal pot sold here is about as good as the first buds I grew. I haven't bought a gram of it but a buddy does and it's real crap for 3x the price we can get it off the streets for. I haven't bought street pot in almost 30 years either. Before I moved up here in '01 I had grow buddies back in BC that kept me in more free pot than I could smoke and I brought clones with me then and have been growing steady since.

A guy's gotta have a hobby and fishing here sux so pot it is.

Ugly looking cola for that much money. I have some Barney's stuff. A cross a buddy in Texas made years ago. L.S.D. x Blueberry, both from BF. Really like it and it's easy to grow, good yields and great for my depression with the right pheno.

A cross I made is Kali Mist and Northern Lights #5. Both of those came from the old Marc Emery Seed Bank around the year 2000. I call it Northern Myst. The Kali was killer for my depression but a bit too much would give me an anxiety attack for the first 15 min so I crossed it with the NL and the right pheno of that works great. The Kali takes up to 14 weeks to finish flowering and the right pheno of the cross takes about 10-11 weeks so not a lot quicker but better.

So many strains, so little time.

Ahhhh I see your one lucky man where pot is legal, So what state do you live in then? Weed in our countryonnmy opinion in the the U.K will only become legal if greedy politicians need the tax off it so they can do whatever with the money, It will be a long time before it becomes legal in our country I’ve heard it’s legal in prescription form somehow but I don’t know the in and outs off the prescription thing.

It is a ugly looking cola for that much money isn’t it I was thinking that myself I’ve googled it and I’ve seen the plant and it looks a weird plant to me probably because it’s genetics have been messed with that many times. So is it dispensary’s in your state where you buy your weed from? I bet you have a good choice to choose from eyyyy lol I’ve been to Amsterdam many off times and smoked some lovely Hash and Weed but I would love to come over to your neck off the woods and smoke your pot, Can tourists do that or so you have to have a Medical card, I’ve heard they are easy to obtain to then you can just go in and buy what you want I’ve also heard in some states tourists can just go in dispensaries and buy weed but that’s what I’ve just heard and read I mean if you go by ear and words the world would be a fucked up place lol

Barneys Farm do have some nice strain and seeds in inhave grew a few ff there strains before it’s just a little bit on the dear side for me, I like Royal Queen Seeds Or Sensi Seeds, Awesome genetics and never let you down I’ve had a problem begirenwith Sensi Seeds where I bought 10 White Widow i think it was but only 3 popped and grew so I contacted them and they sent me 10 free off charge and all 10 popped lol I ha another with Royal Queen Seeds I bought 10 Blue Cheese and again only 4-5 popped I think so I sent proof pics and things and they sent them out again and again i think I had 9 popped, They are my 2 favourite seed banks. You won’t have that problem with it been legal where you are! I’m so Jealous lol!

Canada dude! I live in the province of Alberta not the state of denial. lol

We went legal county wide last October. It's all bullshit tho with ex-politicians and cops owning the biggest Legal Provider operations. Known as LPs.

Anyone can legally grow up to 4 plants per household except in a couple of provinces but that may change thru the courts. Catch is you have to get your seeds from a legal, gov't approved source and there's nought to be had but a couple strains back east somewhere.

I have a medical recommendation for 12g/day that would let me grow 59 plants indoors if I bothered to sign up with Health Canada but I don't want to be on the gov't hit list so just keep my yap shut and grow what I want. If I get caught I'm hoping the medical card will keep my ass out of prison. I'm too pretty to go to jail.

I heard recently that in the UK cops have the discretion to arrest you or not if they catch you with pot. Guess that means if you're white you walk and if brown you're going down. I'd be OK as I'm Scottish and don't much like British rule. Ginger as well.

I've only bought seeds a couple times from stores. Crap King Seeds is just that, Crap. Get most of mine trading with friends and have sent out hundreds.

Down in the US pot is still illegal federally but legal in 13 states now I think for recreational pot and legal medically in many more. Different all over so not sure how it works in each. I used to live 1 mile from the US border and went down weekly for cheap cigarettes, gas, booze and would occasionally bring back a pound of pot. Need a passport now and I'm a long way from the border with no passport. No desire to go down to that 3rd world country anyways.

There’s a fair gew countries that have legalised it now tonbe gair Spain have these like underground cannabis clubs where you can smoke I’ve never been just been to Amsterdam countless off times, Plus I read that Uruguay have legalised it but you have to be a Uruguay citizen to smoke it or something along them lines a think Portugal have to well they have with all drugs I think, There will be a few more countries to I think Columbia you can carry 7 grams without been punished to. Cities like Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal etc have had illegal dispensaries for years but none in Alberta until a few years ago and they got shut down pretty fast. There is a legal pot store in a small city about an hour from my place but I'll never buy legal pot. Garbage.

Anyone from anywhere 18 or over can buy legal pot here and 19+ next door in BC and I think in Saskatchewan to the east of us as well. You just walk in and check out the sealed cans of pot then buy some. Various oils too and supposed to be edibles in a few months. Crappy pot at twice or more the price as illegal pot. Sales have been dropping since it started as more people try it and don't much like it. Supplies are limited as are the choices. Legal to have 30g or less on you publicly and here you can smoke it anywhere you can smoke cigarettes I believe but don't quote me on that. Medpot users sure can.

I was adopted but both my birth parents were Scottish. The mom was born here but the dad was an immigrant from the old country. My dad was Scottish and my mom is Swiss. Both their parents immigrated here before either was born. Mom turns 92 in Aug and still lives mostly on her own.

Hope to get over there someday. I'd like to buy a small caravan and travel around for a year. Get some Spey fishing for salmon in on a famous Scottish River or two with a gillie at my side. When I win the lottery for sure.

Rivers are open to everyone here and we have 5 species of salmon and Steelhead which is a cousin of the Atlantic salmon and the best damn fighting fish for it's size on the planet! Love getting those on the fly. Rips your tackle up and leaves you breathless!

Not here but out on the west coast where I grew up. We got pike and walleye.
