I want to try FIM'g or topping my girl this time. When is the best time to do this?

Right now she's about a month old.

3-5 nodes your plant would be the perfect specimen for a experiment

if you clipped at the 3rd node you could clone the top

I fim after the 5th true node. This leaves the plant a good amount of leaves and nodes from which to sprout new shoots and minimises the stress on the plant.
