I got two plants in flowerin that are on day 35 of 49. I jumped the gun on this one cause I started doing the final flush. Lets say I've been using a lot of nutrients. Should I start flushing two weeks prior, one week prior, or go balls to the wall to the end. Then use a clearing agent. I rather use plain water. Another thing, can someone explain to me in detail on how to do this withholding water to get sticker buds.

With soil-type grows, the flushing is best performed as the last watering before harvest. The plants are then harvested at about the time they need to be watered again.

Personally i start to flush 2 weeks prior to end of cycle, 1 week is pushing it, its also dependant upon how much your plants are drinking on a daily basis, will 7 days allow a full flush etc etc. Regarding the withholding feeding, basically the last 72 hours of the plants life should be water free for a few reasons, first reason is it forces the plant into a state where it needs to exert and give one last push to feed itself from within as its no longer recieving feeding from an external source which has been "claimed" to enhance the crystals, the other main reason is that once you pull/chop the plant, it has minimal liquid content, the drying process starts alot quicker. hope that helps.

You flushed after week 5 just started ? To me it sounds like you are depriving your plants of food when they need it most. They are just starting to take off. I feed my plants until the night before harvest. no flush and the girls taste great. No weird taste. just awsomeness.

if your using good nutrients such as dutch master, fox farm, advanced nutrients or something like that use half the strength they say to do for 9 days than flush each pot or hydro bucket for soil rinse with 3 times as much as the container can hold. for hydro swap with clean water and then switch again the next day, a little tip u can do is starve the plant of water at the very end so drying time will be reduced and it is said to increase THC level's but I haven't noticed it that much.
