You can veg a plant for 20 years or more, just saying. Now on to your question. There are threads on here of people who go right into 12/12 from seed or clone. The question is "How big do I want my plant before I flower?" How much room do you have? is it a sativa as they tend to be very tall?

Thanks for the comment, the plants are barneys farm blue cheese indica not sativa, i am not too botherd about how tall they will be i have enough room, but i want the most buds from it, so height doesnt really matter just was looking for the best time to flower, but i prosume the taller the plant the more branches which means more buds i guess? so taller the better ! lol

Yea, the longer you veg it the bigger it will be. There will a lot of debate as to how big the buds will be based on how you grow. This can stem from heating/cooling, humidity, nutrients, foliar feeding, purified water vs. tap, the list goes on. Time with growing will help a lot of this, the more years you spend growing and learning will help. Finding people on here who are proven veteran growers can help you also. Sounds like you'll do fine and make sure you start a grow thread with pics so people can help you with pointers. Just double check any pointers you get by searching. Good luck to you

Also, one more thing. Learn as much as you can about trimming/curing. This will determine 80% of your end quality!
