I found a hermie a couple of weeks ago in my flowering room. Needless to say It released some pollen and impregnated 2 of my other ladies. I chopped the hermie and dried it. I was wondering if anyone knows how to tell when seeded bud is ready for harvest. I'm harvesting for max potency...I don't really care about seed viability.:weed:
Any help is appreciated.

Harvest when you normally would if you don't care if the seeds mature. Once pollenated seeds take about six weeks to mature. The growth of seeds will take away plant energy from the formation of flowers. You can pluck the seeds out with some tweezers to eliminate them from the equation.

Did you notice any male flowers during your routine inspections earlier on in flowering? They look like little tiny bananas. Pluck these out immediately.
Once they start though you must remain vigilant to keep up with thier formation.
I will shut up now.:weed:

Just follow the basic procedure, 75-85% of hairs should be red and almost all trichomes should be red/amber colored.

Just hope that you don't end up with too many seeds and too little buds.

Yeah I found male flowers on one of my females but it was too late. A couple had opened and seeded 2 of my girls. The male flowers were tucked under the buds on a couple of the flowers...Sneaky little buggers!

Yea, this happened to me, had 1 hermi empregnate 2 of 4 of my ladies, I plucked a bud off today, seedy but fat and stinky,

Im going to harvest when about 70% of the hairs are orange, and the trichromes are milky, right now its about 30% orange hairs and a clear trichrome head.

I had my first grow hermie on me. I noticed the male flowers week 4 after the flip... I flushed week 8 and harvested. It ended up being mildy seeded on the upper portion of the plants but the bottom was heavily seeded. Cured it like it was unseeded and it turned out straight fire. Just gotta do the work n pick the seeds out.
